On the original site where the Iron Age houses were found is slightly elevated, therefore the high tides do not reach that far back as yet. Sand movement may be a problem as wind blown sand covering fencing in some areas which enables the public to walk all over the original site. Reconstructed Iron Age house is under threat from rabbit burrowing and there may be a problem in the future with the stream that runs past to the sea.
