A prehistoric shell midden and small prehistoric drystone curvilinear cell structure.
Extensive midden. Two sections exposed: a) facing shore, midden layer on top of apparent wall structure. b)created by path to shore, midden on top of ash(?) floor layer, evidence of burning. 100 yds from main Iron Age village.
Cellular structure not observed.
March 2014 Generally unchanged, midden and walling observed in section, cairn being constructed out of fallen stones at the base of the section.

Further archaeological identification and some form of preservation. protection of (b) from further damage from path.

Site is eroding very fast. Path visitors use to get to shore cuts right through b)and is getting much wider. Extensive damage from rabbit burrows as well as winter storm damage.
Local people have found pottery on the path.
