Associated with a drystone wall, only a short stretch of which was visible.
This anthropogenic layer and walling are below and separated by a blown sand layer from the ubiquitous buried turf horizon visible in every exposure across the Ardnave peninsular.

This anthropogenic layer and walling are below and separated by a blown sand layer from the ubiquitous buried turf horizon visible in every exposure across the Ardnave peninsular.
It is almost certainly associated with nearby artefact scatters 12949 and 12958.
Presence of structural remains and in-situ archaeological deposits makes this site a candidate for further investigation to characterise and date the remains. It is almost certainly associated with nearby artefact scatters 12949 and 12958. Priority 2.
