Dark shale like midden material eroding out of base of dune with associated remain of mortared wall boulders lying in front of it on the shore. Boulders have since been spread down the shore by the sea. Previously noted & investigated by Clyne Heritage Society.

Description
Visited 2018 & 2019
As described, coast edge suffering from erosion, remains vulnerable. Spread of loose stone rubble partway up dune face behind the site of the wall recorded in 2006 (thought to be the panhouse) and immediuately west of the office / storehouse building 11942. Associated with a thin spread of industrial midden material, though less compacted than the layers recorded in 2010. The lack of structure to the deposits suggests that this may be the remains of a stockpile of building material for the office / storehouse building that went unused.
